1 cup sugar
2 eggs
½ cup butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch salt
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 cups raisins (boil in 1½ cup water until soft and about 1 cup liquid)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar and eggs.
Mix in all the spices and powders.
Slowly mix in flour.
Once all combined pour mixture into buttered and floured baking pan.
Bake at 350º for 40-45 minutes until knife comes out clean .
