4 c.peeled and diced very thin or shredded apples (any kind sweet or tart depending on your taste)
2 c. sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
3/4 c. oil
1c. pecans chopped (optional)

(options) powder sugar to sprinkle on top, caramel to drizzle, ice cream, Cool Whip

Mix together! Bake at 350 degree for 30-35 mins.

Mom always Sprinkle powdered sugar on top!

This is such a moist and delicious cake.. My dad loved this cake. We had this cake often but especially in the fall when apples were in the store at a good price.
