1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
12 oz. water
2 eggs
1 ¼ cup sugar
2 tbls flour
pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbls butter
1 box vanilla wafers
3-4 bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and add water in medium saucepan. Beat eggs. Mix together sugar, flour and salt. Add to beaten eggs. Stir mixture into scalded milk. Cook over low heat until thickened. Cool. Add vanilla and butter. For first layer, cover bottom of glass dish with vanilla wagers. For second layer, cover with sliced bananas. Cover with about ⅓ of custard. Reppeat until all ingredients are used.
