3 eggs
1 cup sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tbls flour
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs. Mix together sugar, flour and salt and add to beaten eggs. Stir in milk and vanilla. Pour into uncooked pie shell. Bake at 425 about 25-30 minutes.

For variations: line bottom of uncooked pie shell with 6 ounce cooked mashed prunes. Pour custard mixture over and bake as above. For coconut pie, add 1 cup cocnut to custard mixture and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake as instructed. Use 9 inch deep-dish pie shells.
