2 1/4 cups flour or a little more
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup mashed bananas
1 7 oz pkg chocolate chips- milk chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Beat shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternating with bananas. Add chocolate chips. Nuts if desired. Bake at 350º F for about 12 minutes. Will not get real brown.
