2 cups white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups crisco
4 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
4 2/3 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
2 cups chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars, Crisco, eggs and vanilla. Pour measured flour onto waxed paper. Add salt and soda to flour (not sifted) and stir to blend. Add blended dry ingredients to creamed mixture and mix well. Add nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
