1½ cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs- beaten
4½ cups sifted flour
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
½ cup almonds or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter and both sugars. Beat in eggs, add flour that has been sifted with cinnamon and soda. Mix in nuts. Let stand 5-10 minutes until dough can be patted into rolls. Dough will still be sticky. Store in refrigerator over-night. Cut into ¼ inch slices and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º about 10 minutes.
