1/2 Cup margarine or butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup raisins
1 Cup currents
1 1/2 Cup Flour
1 Tsp baking soda
2 Tablespoon milk
1/2 Tsp Alspice
1 Tablespoon Molasses
1/2 Cup Mincemeat

Directions:

Mix baking soda into the 2 tablespoons of milk . Mix all ingredients into a batter. Get cheese cloth and this mixture is steamed for 3 hours. Best served with carmel rum sauce.

Gramma Anderson's Carrot Christmas Pudding is a special memory, and the Rum sauce remebering how everyone who went by the rum sauce on the stove they all added a bit more rum, it was the best.
