1 cup canned or fresh pumpkin
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 t. baking powder
2 t. ground cinnamon
1/2 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
1 t. milk
1 T. vanilla xtract
2 cups semisweet mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (opt)

Combine pumpkin, sugar, vegetable oil & egg.

In a sperate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon & salt.
Dissolve the baking soda with the milk & stir in.

Add four mixture to pumpkin mixture & mix well.

Add Vanilla, chocolate chips & nuts.

Drop by spoonful on greased cookie sheet & bake at 350 dgrees F for 10 minutes or until lightly brown & firm.
