3-4 lb. brisket, rump roast, or pot roast
2-3 potatoes pared & sliced
2-3 carrots pared & sliced
1-2 onions, peeled & sliced
1 pckg lipton onion soup mix
1/2 cups beef consomme
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put vegetables in bottom of crock-pot.

Salt & pepper meat, then put in pot.

Mix water & lipton onion soup mix until powder part is desolved. Pour over meat & vegetables.

Cover & cook on Low for 10-12 hours. (High: 4-5 hours.) Remove meat & vegeables.

Reserve liquid from roast for homemade gravy.
