2 3/4 cup flour
2 1/2 tsps. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup shortening (butter or margarin)
2 1/4 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup nuts
1 7 oz. bag chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Melt shortening and add sugar. Cool. Add eggs and dry ingredients.
Bake at 350º for 35 min. in rectangular cake pan.
