2 c all-purpose flour
¾ c Nestle Toll House baking cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 c (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
⅔ c granulated sugar
⅔ c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1¾ c (11.5 oz pkg.) Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in larger mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chunks. Drop by rounded tbsp onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until cookies are puffed and centers are set but still soft. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, remove to wire racks to cool completely.
