1 c. margarine
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. oil
1 egg
1 c. rice krispies
1 c. coconut
1 c. rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 ½ c. flour

1. Cream shortening, add sugar gradually, then add the oil and egg until well beaten.

2. In a separate bowl mix together flour, baking soda, rolled oats and salt. Stir into butter mixture.

3. Stir in rice krispies and coconut.

4. Heat oven to 350º C. Spoon balls of dough (tsp. sized) onto tray. Flatten with fork.

5. Cook in oven ~ 10 min or until edges are starting to turn golden.

6. Remove from oven and cool.
