1/2 large cabbage, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 large onion, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 to 3 apples cut into pieces
about 2 tbsp olive oil
1 to 2 tbsp butter
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º.
In a large bowl combine cabbage, onions and apples. Season with salt and pepper. Toss with olive oil.
Place in baking dish. Add water to cover bottom of dish. No more than 1/4 up the side of the dish. Doesn't need a lot of water.
Put pats of butter on top. Cover with foil.
Bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking until the water has evaporated. 20 to 45 minutes more.
