1 c. molasses
½ c. shortening
3 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
Raisins
Icing sugar
Cinnamon candy drops

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat molasses and pour over shortening.
2. Add sifted dry ingredients, mix well.
3. Chill overnight.
4. Roll into ⅛'' thickness and cut out cookies with gingerbread man cutter.
5. Make the eyes and mouth from raisins or candies.
6. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350ºF for 8-10 minutes.
7. Cool and decorate with icing sugar and cinnamon candies.
