1/2 Cup Soft Shortening
1 1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs Beaten

2 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 tsp Vanilla

Sift Together:
2 3/4 Cups Sifted Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt

Glaze
1 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
3 TBS Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Beat shortening, sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Stir in 2 squares melted unsweetened Chocolate. Add Sour Cream and Vanilla. Stir in sifted flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

Chill Dough 1 Hour or overnight

Preheat oven to 400º

Drop onto ungreased baking sheet or baking sheet covered in parchment paper. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until they are firm when lightly touched.

When cookies are cool ice with the glaze.
