Combine:
1 C butter
¾ C sugar
¾ C packed brown sugar
1 Tsp vanilla

Beat in:
2 eggs

Gradually add:
2¼ C flour
1 Tsp baking powder
1 Tsp salt

Stir in:
1 - 12oz (2 Cups) chocolate chips
1 C chopped nuts
Directions:

Spread in 15 x 10 x 1" greased pan.

Bake 375º for 20-25 minutes

Cool, cut into squares
