4 lbs. beef stew meat,
Garlic powder,
2 cans golden mushroom soup,
1 env. dry onion soup mix,
1 (18 oz) can mushrooms,
2 cans whole white potatoes,
6 or more carrots, sliced into chunks

Directions:
Directions:
Place meat in roaster and sprinkle with garlic powder and dry onion soup mix. Toss. Add mushrooms, potatoes and carrots. Pour soups over mixture and mix thoroughly. Bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours until meat is fork-tender. A little water can be added toward the end of baking.
Variation: Omit potatoes and serve over mashed potatoes.
