1 cup soft butter
⅔ cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 cups sifted flour
½ tsp. salt

Directions:
Cream butter until light and fluffy
Add sugar gradually, stir in vanilla. Add eggs one at a bime beating will after each egg. Stir in flour and salt. Bake at 350º about 10 minutes.
