5 cups Flour
1 cup Vegetable Oil
1 cup Milk
1 cup Sugar
2 tbsp. Anise extract
Pinch Salt
3 Eggs
5 tbsp. Baking Powder

FROSTING:
Milk (enough to make a thick glaze about 1/3 cup) Not all at once.
2 tsp Anise Extract
4 cups of Confectionary Sugar.
Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl blend eggs and sugar. Add milk, oil and anise extract. In separate bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture until all ingredients make a soft dough. Divide dough into 4. Form 2 logs on parchment lined cookied sheet. Make each log about 2-3 inches wide and about 3/4 the length of the cookie sheet. They do get bigger in the oven, so do not place close together. Bake at 350º for about 12-14 minutes on second rack in the oven. Remove and leave on cookie sheet about 10-15 minutes. Cool completely before frosting.
Glaze is with confectionery sugar, milk and 2 tsp. of anise extract. Frost log on parchment paper or cookie sheet, sprinkle with favorite holiday sprinkles. Let dry completely. Cut into 1 inch pieces. (Dough scraper cuts them easily). Place cookie in holiday cupcake paper.
