1 cup butter
1+1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 - 9oz can crushed pineapple with juice
3+ 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ginger
Halved walnuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400º

In a bowl, cream the butter & sugaruntil soft & fluffy. Beat in the egg.

Stir in pineapple& juice.

Stir in the sifted flour, soda, salt & ginger.

Chill in refrigerator. Drop by rounded teaspoonabout 2" apart on a cookie sheet.Place a walnut half on each

Bake until brown around the edges. Cool on a rack
