1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup margarine/butter
1 egg
1 tsp baking soda in 3 - 4 mashed bananas
2 cups flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 Tbsp milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Mash bananas; stir in baking soda.
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, milk and bananas.
Mix in dry ingredients.
Makes 12 large muffins,
Bake 350º for 15 to 20 minutes.

Grandma Martin made these banana muffins and we all loved them, especially warm from the oven. Some of us liked to smear with butter. I have used this recipe for years and have shared it with many. These muffins were very well received at early morning practises of the BC Canada Winter Games 1991 Ringette team.
