1 cup of packed brown sugar
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup of water
1 tsp of vanilla
3 cups of Quaker oats
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1/2 cup of craisins
1/2 cup of coconut

Optional:
1/2 cup of nuts and 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
In a large bowl beat together shortening, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, water, and vanilla until creamy. Add Quaker oats, flour, baking soda, and salt. Drop by teaspoons (I roll into a ball) and place about 2 inches apart onto parchment paper. Bake 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on racks.
