1½ c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
¾ c. sugar
2 egg yolks
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
1. Put milk and sugar in a heavy saucepan and bring to boil.
2. Take a ½ c. of the milk and stir your flour and cornstarch together.
3. First, stir then add to your other hot milk mixture.
4. Cook a few minutes, then take some of the hot mixture. Cook about 2 or 3 minutes stirring all the time. Remove when done; add a tbsp. or tsp. vanilla and let it cool.
5. Now if that isn't thick enough you have to add a little more cornstarch and flour.
6. Put sliced bananas on bottom of baked pie shell; add a little mixture, then add another roll of sliced bananas.
7. Add the rest of the pie filling. Be sure it is cold before putting bananas in.
8. Put whipped cream on top.
