Ingredients:
Ingredients:
8 quarts popcorn
2 cups brown sugar
2 sticks butter or margarine
½ cup corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Fill a roaster with popcorn. Leave enough room to stir. Bring other ingredients to a boil and boil for 5 mintues. Remove from heat and add ½ tsp. soda. Stir. Pour over corn immediately and stir well. Cover as much popcorn as possible. Mixture will stiffen if it sits any amount of time. Bake at 250º for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. This is important. Remove from the oven. Turn out on waxed paper immediately. Store in air-tight containers or it will get sticky. Put all pans in dishwater immediately or they will be hard to clean.
