2 eggs (well beaten)
½ cup sugar
2 cups milk (or enough to cover the bread)
1 box vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
1 tsp. nutmeg
8 slices bread

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together everything but the bread. Tear bread in pieces. Put bread in a buttered 9x13 baking dish. Pour liquid mixture over the bread. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Serve plain, or with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
