2 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup butter (1/2 & 1/2 ok)
1/2 cup confectionary sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven to 250º

Sift first 3 ingredients.

Cream butter with vanilla then add dry ingredients

Put batter into a cookie press or roll out & cut with shaped cookie cutters

Bake 18 - 20 minutes - watch, they burn easily!!
