3 1/2 cups Flour
5 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
2/3 Cup Crisco
1 1/3 Cup Sugar
4 eggs (slightly beaten)
6 to 8 Ripe Bananas - mashed

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together Crisco and sugar. Then add the beaten eggs and mashed bananas and mix with hand mixer until throughly mixed. Add all the dry ingredients that remain and stir together and mix into the banana mixture. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray the bread pans with Pam and flour. Pour mixture into pans. Depends on size of pans 3 smaller, 2 standard bread pans. Bake for 45-60 minutes depending on pan size. Check with toothpick. Should come out clean.

Recently I have added blueberries or mini chocolate chips to add something additional to the recipe. Approx. 1 Cup or whatever you like if you want more!

Grandpa Don Runningen loved Banana Bread and I recall my Mom and Dad making it often almost weekly because he did. He could eat an entire loaf right out of the oven at a sitting. Much like your father/grandpa Lynn does!
