Cake:
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 sticks butter
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 tablespoon baking soda

Icing:
1 stick butter at room temp
16 oz. package of powdered sugar
6 tablespoons buttermilk
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Cake:
Preheat oven to 350. Bring butter, cocoa and water to a boil and pour over the mixed dry ingredients. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla and mix together. Pour into sheet cake pan and bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Icing:
Mix ingredients together and pour over warm cake
