⅓ c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
¼ tsp. salt
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 9 in. pie shell, unbaked
1 cup pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, cream butter and brown sugar together. Add corn syrup, salt, eggs, and vanilla; beat well. Pour into a 9 in unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle pecans over top. Place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350º for approx. 45 min. just until center is set. Cool and top with whipped cream or ice cream.

Everyone looked forward to Grandma's pecan pie. I remember watching her making her pie crust from scratch. Though not always perfect looking, her pies were always so delicious! I can't see a pecan pie without thinking of her.
