½ cup butter or margarine
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 ¼ cups self-rising flour
1 ½ tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Cream butter and peanut butter and gradually cream in sugars. Beat in egg. Stir in flour. Add vanilla. Form dough into balls (one teaspoon per ball). Place the balls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Crisscross with a fork. Bake 12 minutes. Yields 4 dozen.
