3 cups flour
2 tsp ginger
1+1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 cup butter/shortening/margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark brown corn syrup

Directions:
Preheat ovento 350º

Sift first 4 ingredients.Set aside.

In mixing bowl, mix butter & sugar until fluffy. Stir in syrup.

Mix in flour mix until well blended & dough is formed.

On a foured surface, Roll out dough to 1/8" thickness.. Cut with desired shapes & place on cookie sheets

Bake for 10 minutes.

Let cool completely before decorating
