½ - cup of shortening
1 - cup of sugar
2 - eggs, beaten
1 - cup of Libby's Solid Pack Pumpkin
2 - cps of flour (sifted)
2 - tsp. of baking powder
1 - tsp. of salt
½ - tsp. of ground nutmeg
¼ - tsp. of ground ginger
2 ½ tsp. of ground cinnamon
1 - cup of raisins
1 - cup of chopped nuts

Lemon Icing:
2 - cups of confectioners sugar
1 - tbsp. of lemon juice
1 - tbsp. of lemon grated rind
some cream

Dough:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream shortening and gradually beat in the sugar. Add eggs, pumpkin and mix well. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and spices together. Add in the nuts and raisins.

Drop by heaping teaspoon onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes until cookies are firm to the touch. Remove from baking sheets and cool on a rack. Frost with lemon icing.

Lemon Icing:
Combine the confectioners sugar, lemon juice and lemon rind. Use some milk to make it spreading consistency.
