1 - cup soft shortening
1 - cup of sugar
1 - cup of brown sugar
2 - eggs
1 ¼ cup of flour
1 tsp. of baking soda
pinch of salt
½ tsp. of vanilla
3 - cups of oatmeal

optional nuts and raisins can be added

basically mix together

Bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes
