3/4 c. + 2 tbsp. shortening
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c granulated sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. black walnut extract
3/4 c. black walnut
3/4 c shredded coconut
4 c. sifted cake flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar until light, fluffy. Add egg; beat well. Add vanilla, black walnut extract. Grind nuts, coconut together very fine. Add to creamed mixture. Sift flour, cream of tartar, salt, soda together. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture in three additions. Place cooky dough in Wear-Ever Cooky Press; make desired shapes on ungreased. Wear-Ever Cooky Sheet. Bake 8-10 min in hot (400ºF) oven
