2 sticks butter
1+ t vanilla
1 c sifted powdered sugar
2 1/2 c sifted flour
Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together butter, vanilla and sugar. Cream well.
Gradually blend in flour until fully incorporated.
Divide dough into 4 parts and color each part with color of your choice.
Shape each into a strip 1/2 “ thick. Place all 4 side by side on a floured board.
Roll lengthwise into a strip 21/2-3 inches wide by 1/8” thick.
Cut into desired shapes with a cookie cutter.
Respect and reroll, the cookies will be marbled.
Place on parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake 350º
8+ minutes.....do not brown

These have been Aaron’s favorite cookies since he was a little kid. They are very pretty but in my opinion taste
like play dough! Try adding more flavoring or even changing extracts...almond, lemon,etc.
