2 qts. of fresh or frozen strawberries, sweetened
1 stick butter or margarine
1 c. self-rising flour, sifted
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 capful vanilla
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Place and melt butter in a 11 X 14 baking dish, in a preheated 425 degree oven. When melted, add strawberries and evenly arrange in dish. In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients and pour over the fruit. Place cobbler dish onto a larger baking sheet and put into oven for approximately 30 to 40 minutes. (This is optional, just in case of a spill over.) *This recipe can be halved and/or other fruit can be substituted.
