2 c. milk
1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
2 T. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
5 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and pour over oatmeal, sugar, butter and salt. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water. Add to oatmeal mixture. Stir in flour. Knead well and let rise 1 hour. Knead again and place in 2 greased loaf pans. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 375 for 40 minutes.
