½ cup butter
3 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups flouir
⅔ cup sugar
1 egg
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp almond extract

Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tbsp light corn syrup
2-3 tbsp milk

Preheat oven to 350º

In large mixing bowl, combine butter and cream cheese, beat with mixer on medium-high for 30 seconds. Add half the flour, ⅔ cup suigar, 1 egg, baking powder, vanilla and almond extracts. Beat until combined. Beat or stir in remaining flour. Divide in half. Cover and chill for 1 or 2 hours or till firm.

On alightly floured surface, roll dough to ¼" thickness. Cut with cookie cutters into shapes

Bake 8-10 minutes til just barely tan on the bottom - not brown- they'll be too dry.

Can use any frosting desired, depending on how you like to decorate!

This recipe does not make many cookies - I usually double or triple the recipe
