1/4 t. salt
2 t. baking powder
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/4 c. melted butter
1 t. vanilla
1 c. milk

Topping:
3 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. softened butter
3 T. milk
1 t. vanilla
6 c. chopped, salted peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, beat eggs with mixer for one minuted. Slowly beat in sugar, beat for 4 minutes. In another bowl mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to egg mixture. Beat together 1 cup milk then add melted butter and vanilla. Bake cake 35-40 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes. Mix powdered sugar, soft butter, milk and vanilla. Cut cake in 24 squares. Refrigerate for thirty minutes.

These are just the best peanut bars! A staple in Grandma's "Marshmallow Tin". Always a treat, especially around Christmas time. Brings back such good memories of our Norman Rockwell Holidays.
