Ingredients: |
Ingredients: 1 lb Oleo 6 c Flour 6 Eggs 1 can Milk, evaporated 1 Baker's Yeast (cake)
|
|
Directions: |
Directions:First Day:
Melt oleo and cool. Beat eggs and add to oleo. Add milk using a little warm milk to dissolve the yeast.
Mix all ingredients by hand. (Dough is properly mixed when hands come clean.)
Cover and put dough in the refrigerator overnight.
Second Day:
Preheat oven to 350º-375ºF.
Divide dough into four (4) parts. Keep the dough you are not using in the refrigerator.
Sprinkle sugar on your surface and roll out dough until about ⅛ inch using sugar as you work the dough. (The sugar keeps the dough from sticking; and, the more you use, the better.
Cut into little squares and use a dollop of the following nut mixture or canned apricot filling in center, then fold.
Bake in preheated oven. Check in 15 minutes. |
