1/2 cup melted butter (not margarine)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 egg
2 Tbsp of cocoa
3/4 chopped walnuts (if you want)

Mix, pour into an 8x8 pan and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
If you would like a 9x 13 pan of brownies just double the recipe

Once out of the oven, mix the following and pout over "warm" brownies
2 tsp cocoa
2 tsp butter (not margarine)
3 tsp hot water
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups icing sugar
(I always double the frosting recipe)
