2 cups plus 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 teaspoon corn starch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 heaping cup white chocolate chips
1 cup macadamia nuts, roughly chopped

Whisk flour, corn starch, and salt in large bowl. Set aside. Whisk butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until combined. Use rubber spatula and Combine with dry ingredients. Fold in chips and nuts (can use mixer for this). Cover and chill for at least 2 hours and up to 4 days. If longer than 2 hours, let stand at room temperature for 20-30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350º . Place parchment paper on cookie sheet. Using approximately 1 1/2 tablespoons of dough, rolling into ball. Place about 3 inches apart. Bake for 12-13 minutes. Let cool approximately 5 minutes
