1 head cabbage – shredded
1 Bermuda onion, or large onion – thinly sliced
1 green pepper – thinly sliced
Add grated carrot if desired
Sprinkle with 1 scant cup sugar

Directions:

In sauce pan combine:

1 c vingear (cider vinegar)
1 tsp celery salt
1 tsp prepared mustard
1 TBSP salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 TBSP sugar
Add ¾ c salad oil

Bring this to a boil and pour it over the salad – Weigh it down with heavy plate. Place in refrigerator and stir in one hour and serve in six hours. Itwill keep two weeks or more.
