½ cup white sugar
2 tsp salt
1½ cup whole milk
2 cups whole wheat flour
3½ cups white flour
1 egg
1 tsp. honey
½ cup shorting
2 pkg. yeast
½ cup very warm water

Directions:
Directions:
dissolve sugar and salt in 1½ cup warm water
stir in whole wheat flour, shortening ( melted ), beaten egg and honey. Mix Well
Add: yeast that has been dissolved in ½ cup very warm water plus 2 tsp sugar.
Add, 3½ cups white flour to make a soft dough
let rise till double in bulk punch down and let rise again. make bun. let rise till double in bulk.
bake in 350 degree oven for 20 min.
