2 sticks margarine or butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 ⅔ cup flour
½ tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs, add soda, salt and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour. Dough will be real thick. Drop small amount of dough on a greased cookie sheet. Press with fork that has been dipped in cold water. Bake in a 350º oven until golden brown. Add nuts if you like.
