1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cups sugar
1 egg slightly beaten
2 oz chocolate, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups rolled oats

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar, add the egg, melted chocolate and vanilla. Sift the baking powder and salt with the flour and add with the rolled oats. Drop from a teaspoon on a greased baking sheet. Press rather flat with a knife dipped in cold water and bake in a moderate hot oven (375F).
