1 1/2 cup of sifted flour
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
2 tbsp of milk
1 tsp of vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift all dry ingredients together. Cut short being as if you’re making a pie crust. Blend in the wet ingredients. Roll out and cut out. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes.
