1 c butter
2 c light brown sugar
4 eggs
1 lb. golden raisins
1 lb. black raisins
1/2 lb. red candied cherries
1/2 lb. green candied cherries
1/2 lb. red candied pineapple
1/2 lb. green candied pineapple
1 c bourbon
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 1/2 c flour
1 lb. walnut halves
1 lb. pecan halves

Directions:
Dredge fruit and raisens in 1 c flour.

Cream together brown sugar & butter; beat in eggs. Gradually addd bourbon and milk.

Mix in remaining flour and spices. Stir in fruit & nuts. Refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350º. Drop dough in teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake approximately 15 minutes.

Leon Jr. was our favorite cousin growing up next door. He was good looking and a star athlete. He died at 67. We remember him with this great recipe every Christmas.
