CAKE:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
½ tsp salt
2 eggs
½ cup buttermilk
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp Vanilla
1 stick of butter
1 cup water
¼ cup cocoa
½ cup oil


FROSTING:
1 stick of butter
⅓ cup buttermilk
¼ cup cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1 pound powdered sugar
1 cup nuts (optional)

CAKE:
Mix together first seven ingredients and set aside. In a sauce pan, heat margerine, oil, water and cocoa. When mixture comes to a boil, pour over flour mixture an mix together. Pour into a greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake at 400º for 20 minutes.

FROSTING:
Mix 4 four ingredients in a suace pan and bring to a boil. Add powdered sugar. Mix in nuts if desired. Pour over cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
